Segment 1 Goal Setting (The Key To Performance) Goal setting enables individuals and organizations to set goals and check their progress toward them. You will learn how to gain success by: linking personal goals with organizational goals, setting up goals, and incorporating goal setting into your management style to effectively motivate and direct employees.

Segment 2 Motivation (Employees Can Do More) Motivated employees are essential for success. You will learn how to identify the factors which sustain motivation and develop techniques to help you in the following areas: transforming marginal performers into productive contributors, understanding the effects your management style has on motivation, identifying physical and emotional conditions which may influence motivation, and applying models and methods for measurable results.

Program 3

Segment 1 Time Management & Procrastination (Organizing Yourself) Time management is a supervisor's most valuable tool. You will learn important techniques in: identifying and eliminating the most common types of interruptions to working time, understanding and utilizing time logs, overcoming procrastination tendencies, developing planning tools to minimize redundancies, and building a time efficient workforce.

Segment 2 Delegation (Organizing Others) The art and science of delegating can increase motivation, confidence and professional and personal growth in subordinates while allowing managers to focus on top level activities. You will learn: to delegate responsibilities utilizing your employees' skills, what to delegate to whom and why, avoiding doing everything yourself, broadening your understanding of your current delegation style, and creating a delegation plan.

Program 4

Segment 1 Problem Solving (Understanding) The ability to solve problems creatively has a significant impact on the success of a manager. You will learn valuable techniques for the following: clarifying and defining problems, identifying causes, formulating effective questions to analyze risks and benefits of potential solutions, introducing creativity into the problem solving process, and studying behavioral and environmental factors which affect the problem solving process.

Segment 2 Decision Making (Applications & Styles) As a continuation of side one you will learn the essential techniques for making decisions by discovering effective methods in group decision making and ineffective ones you should avoid. Through this process, you will also be assessing your own decision making style.
